Bicycle Casino Host Children's Christmas Party - Friday 23rd of December 2005

BELL GARDENS, California – The Bicycle Casino willcontinue its long-standing philanthropic tradition with it's annual Children'sChristmas Party for over 1,700 underprivileged children from the surroundingcommunity!

Probably one of its most elaborate and well-known charitable projects, the21st annual Children's Christmas Party will be held on Thursday, December 22ndat The Bicycle Casino. The staff has worked tirelessly to put together a dayof fun and enjoyment dedicated to the underprivileged children. Set in acarnival-type atmosphere, this year's event includes rides, games, aninflatable slide, horse drawn carriage, a DJ, clowns and petting zoo. All thechildren invited will have the opportunity to meet and take their photo withSanta Claus, along with being given a gift, goodies and a hosted lunch. Thisis a ticketed event limited to children who were qualified by the localMontebello school district. In addition, a limited number of tickets weregiven to the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club, Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, theSonshine Youth Organization, the Lions Club, as well as the Bell GardensPolice Department and L.A. County Fire Station 39.

Managing Partner, Haig Kelegian, said, "This is an event we eagerlyanticipate every year. The holidays are a wonderful opportunity for us togive back to our community. We are proud to be able to make a difference tothose who are less fortunate and we hope that our efforts will allow thesefamilies to enjoy their holidays just a bit more!"

Also, this year, The Bicycle Casino has committed to support ourScholarship Program that benefits the Casino's employee's children who plan tocontinue their education in college and vocational school programs. Manyapplications for the scholarships were received by the November 15, 2005deadline. Selection of the recipients was made entirely by Scholarship ofAmerica, a national nonprofit educational support and student aid serviceorganization. This year's recipients, along with their parents, will berecognized during our Children's Christmas Party on the 22nd of December at12pm at a special luncheon hosted by The Bicycle Casino owners and management.Winners will be receiving a $2,000 award.
